Third-Party Purchase & Licensing Terms

These Third-Party Purchase & Licensing Terms govern all products, digital downloads, templates, web tools, and resources created under the Math With Minis brand name but purchased through third-party marketplaces, vendor storefronts, or external platforms.

By purchasing or downloading Math With Minis products through any third-party seller or platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms in addition to the terms of service of the platform where the transaction occurred.

1. Single-Teacher / Single-User Digital License

Unless explicitly sold as a “School/District License” or “Multi-License,” every product purchased under the Math With Minis brand includes a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable license.

Allowed Uses

  • One Educator / One Classroom: You may download, print, and use the resource for your own personal classroom, students, or home setting.
  • Student Access: You may assign digital resources or self-grading tools to your direct students via secure learning management systems (e.g., password-protected Google Classroom, Canvas, or Seesaw) provided access is restricted solely to your enrolled students.

Prohibited Uses

  • Shared Drives & Public Posting: You may not upload resources, links, or file components to public websites, shared district drives, school network folders, or open cloud storage accessible by non-licensed staff.
  • Commercial Exploitation: You may not resell, rebrand, package, or distribute any portion of Math With Minis resources, web application code, templates, or graphics as commercial products or free giveaways.
  • Sharing Among Colleagues: You may not share copy files or links with fellow teachers or grade-level teams without purchasing additional licenses.

2. Platform Sales & Payment Processing

  • Transaction Processing: When you purchase Math With Minis products through third-party marketplaces (such as Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, or payment processors like Stripe/PayPal on external landing pages), the transaction, payment security, tax collection, and checkout experience are handled directly by that third-party platform.
  • Platform Terms Take Precedence on Checkout: In the event of a conflict regarding billing, payment errors, or platform fees, the terms and conditions of the seller platform where you completed checkout apply to the financial transaction.

3. Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations

Because Math With Minis products consist of instant digital downloads, templates, and digital resources, refund policies are governed as follows:

  • Platform Refund Rules: Purchases made on third-party platforms (e.g., Teachers Pay Teachers) are subject to that specific platform’s established refund policy and resolution process.
  • Digital Goods Notice: As a general rule across all platforms, due to the immediate digital delivery of files and links, digital sales are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, except in rare cases specified by the marketplace (such as duplicate purchases or technical defects that cannot be resolved).
  • Accidental Purchases: If you accidentally purchase a duplicate item on a third-party platform, please request a refund directly through that platform’s customer support system or contact us with your order details.

4. Technical Support & Product Updates

  • Accessing Updates: If we issue an updated version of a digital resource or self-grading tool, updates are delivered through the original third-party platform where you completed your purchase (e.g., re-downloading from your “My Purchases” tab on Teachers Pay Teachers).
  • Support Inquiries: For technical questions regarding resource integration, file access, or tool setup, you may contact Math With Minis directly. However, for issues relating to platform account access, forgotten passwords, or order billing errors, you must contact the support team of the respective third-party platform.

5. Intellectual Property & Branding Rights

All products, graphics, layouts, self-grading logic, web app code, and materials sold under the Math With Minis name remain the sole intellectual property of Math With Minis.

  • Purchasing a product gives you a license to use the material according to Section 1; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets to you or any third party.
